English is a tool to communicate verbally and to write. Students need to learn English as one of the foreign languages learned in Indonesian tertiary institutions. Communicating is understanding and expressing information, thoughts, feelings, and developing science, technology, and culture. The ability to communicate in a complete sense is the ability to discourse, namely the ability to understand or produce oral and written texts that are realized in four language skills, namely listening, speaking, reading and writing. Therefore, the method of English subject is directed to develop speaking skills about accounting in English. In order for students to be able to communicate and talk in English related to accounting at a certain literacy level. In its implementation, learning accounting English uses the initial approach of English as a foreign language considering the background and students who do not use English as their daily language. However, it is expected that in students, learning English for accounting can be presented in the form of English as a second language.

This accounting English book has contents in semester 2, namely Introduction to Basic Accounting, Assumptions and Principles of Accounting, Accounts, Financial Statement, Basic Accounting Equation, Benefits of Financial Statements, Interested Parties of Financial Statements, Accounting Concepts and Conventions, Trading and Profit and Loss, Balance Sheets, The Role of Accounting in Business and Why It’s Important, and Grammar Focus.

In this book, there is a table of contents, bibliography which makes it easier for students to understand this book. Besides this book also presents a lot of exercises that make students more creative, the book is also made of quality paper so that the book does not tear quickly. There are certainly advantages and disadvantages, in this book, there are deficiencies as well. Although the practice questions are very many in each chapter, the explanation of the material from each chapter is very lacking, even though the initial material is very important because of how students can work on problems if they do not really understand what is being discussed in that chapter. This book is very useful for all accounting students to guide learning for 2. Besides this book makes students more creative in learning Accounting English. Certainly, makes students broad-minded, because this book provides knowledge that has not been previously known. This book can be applied by students in their daily lives.
